For the shipbuilding,there are always some ordinary castings for a ship,
such as fore/after boss casting,lower/upper rudder carrier,rudder horn,stern tube and so on.
We had supplied castings for 11800TEU,15000TEU,15500TEU,16000TEU,20000TEU and 23000TEU container vessel.
We have rich production experience for marine castings and also have cooperation for many famous domestic shipyards.
Prodution process
1)Approval drawing and letter
Firstly before we get orders for marine castings,we should get approval for related class certificate.
We have DNV,LR,KR,NK,RINA,CCS,ABS,BV class certificate.
When we get enquiry from customers,we will also check their approval drawing and letter.
2)Pattern making
When we deliver the marine castings to shipyards,
we will send them in rough machining.
Before we make them,our engineer will study the drawing and get confirm from the shipyads to avoid mistake.
Normally the engineer will make a line diagram.
The requriement of pattern for marine castings is usually higher than normal ones,
we will make them in our own pattern workshop.
3)Sand mold making and pouring
The weight for the marine castings will be around 3 to 130 tons per piece.
The stern boss for container vessel is always big and we make many of them.
We supplied marine castings for domestic and foreign customers,such as Korea,Crotia,Taiwan and so on.
4）class inspection
The surveyor will stamp on the test sample and witness the mechanical property,UT and MT.
Finally related class will offer a certificate.

Haian Haitai Casting Co.,Ltd. is established in 2003.
We supply large steel castings with low carbon or alloy steel from 3 tons to 150 tons per piece.
With a quick development,now we had supplied steel castings 6,000 tons per month.
There are three workshops for sand mold making,one workshop for machining and one for post procedure.
We have 9 class certificate:ABS,RINA,DNV,LR,KR,BV,CCS,NK and have cooperation with most of Chinese famous shipyards and some foreign shipyards.
Now we supply around 1000 tons marine castings for severals shipyards in Shanghai or Jinjiang.
In recent years,because of the huge demand of container vessel,we supply a lot of stern boss castings.
We now also get approval from CNAS for our testing center.
We can also offer a 3.2 certificate if needed.

We do the test according to diffrent production step,
such as chemical composition,UT,MT and mechanical property.
In 2021,Haitai inspection and testing center got approval from CNAS.
Delivery
Our company is near to Shanghai port and we can supply different packing according to customers' specification.
For small marine castings,we can use pallet or wooden box.
For very big ones,we will put fumigated free wood in the bottom of the castings.
